Dear Kim:

First I got the adhesions, had the surgery - failed surgery, then about a year later I started with the fibromyalgia. My pain specialist says that fibro can be caused by the adhesions (fibro can be caused by trauma), so I raise my hand regarding the fibromyalgia question. Still learning to deal with it and trying to learn about it and what this means regarding the rest of my life. I am dealing with aching and pain in my hands, arms, legs and dealing with chronic fatigue. Ugg, as I didn't have enough to deal with having adhesions pulling and tugging at my right side and severe right-sided rib pain. Life shall go on, and I will fight every day of my life to have some normalcy in it; I must for my children's sake and I won't give in to laying in bed the rest of my life. I have a few good days and do much more than I should, then I'll have what I call a shut-down day, where my body wants to recuperate and I sleep like 14 hours, then I'll run like mad again trying to play catch-up.

Love, and hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and is able to spend this time with their families.
