One reason legitimate people with intense pain cannot get the right medicine is because the doctors are afraid to write prescriptions because of threats from the DEA but the street bums can get all they want. As long as patients do not abuse pain killers they should be made comfortable. I know I stay in so much pain that if I could not get some relief, I would commit suicide as I could not endure this hell of adhesions. The DEA needs to leave legitimate doctors alone and concentrate on all the illegal things around. Thanks, Dolores dtouch@bellsouth.net
