Dear Bobbi, I hated neurontin, it did nothing for me except make me feel weird and when I looked it up in the Physicains Desk Reference, I didn't like what it said at all. Everybody is different,and some people here on the board take it, so it must do something for somebody, but let your body be your guide. If it doesn't work for you, say so.

Helen Dynda just posted an email on what diffferent medications are and do, maybe you could download the information and ask for what you want, maybe some form of codeine or opiate based medicine. It may be habit forming, but there is some question about that. There is quite a bit of evidence that if you take it for pain, you don't form such a strong attachment, because its actually doing something for you. Its better than agony by a long shot.
