Hey Jo,

I've heard of the platypus.....I've always thought it was God's joke on you 'downunders'! As for hair color.....half of siblings are red headed and the other have are light brown.....this led to a lot of 'I'd rather be dead in the head than red in the head' and vice versa. Imagine my sister's shock one time that I dyed my hair red! I told her since I couldn't beat them, I'd better join them (they are all bigger than me LOL!!!!)

I'm somewhat of a kitty lover.....a tortoise shell calico named Pirate's mate (lost her older sister Pirate a year ago), one named Pirate's patch (my husband's idea even though they are female), and one named Caly (for Calypso, not calico like my pedestrian friend insists). They are all quite feisty and wrestle with my husband. Then we have our princess, Simeone, a siamese/himalayan mix. The only one my 'cat hating' husband actually shelled out money for! She's quite a bit bigger than the other three (tortoise shells tend to be small 4-7 lb.) but she much too uppity to take advantage of her size!

Then, of course, I have a dog, George, who thinks he is a cat. The cats tolerate him okay, but having a 110 lb. dog trying to curl up on your lap is a little tooooooo much! If I am on the recliner, he will practically push me out making room for himself. I refuse to let my husband video tape this activity!!!

I like all kinds of vegie spreads, so maybe I'll take some vegemite instead of another (shudder) animal.

I sent you a request via ICQ so I can add you to my list. Dial-up connections are so slow it took 40 minutes to download!
