Dear Bev,
I have had the misfortune of taking care of some of these elderly in the
hospital with the same problem and have had colon removed and died as a
result of these horrible adhesion problems and family members label their
elderly parents as chronic complainers. Ihad a relative die a few weeks ago
that had had 40 surgeries and down to 70 lbs at time of death. It is so hard
to be a part of the medical field and see there is hardly anyone able to
control this problem.
