Dear Sally,
I wanted to send you a quick note to say "Hello", and to find out how you
are doing. First though, please accept my sincere apology for not meeting
with you when we were both in Scranton. I am sorry that things didn't work
out. I have a funny feeling though that we did see each other. First at
the elevator, and then when we were in the restaurant. Do you remember
possibly seeing me? I am 34 yrs. old, 5ft.'9, shoulder length red curly
hair (yuck!!!). Maybe I am way off line here but I saw this women twice.
Once on her own, and the other time we were sitting in the pub downstairs
and I saw the same woman again but this time she was with a man standing at
the front desk. Was that you??? On each occasion I felt this really
strange feeling in the pit of my stomach, almost like butterflies on the
first day of school.
I have not been well since returning home from Scranton. I have not written
to anyone on the board yet. I just have not had the energy. I think that I
also feel that I don't want to ruin any plans for future patients to go to
these amazing doctors in Scranton. I want to be able to say that I am 100%
better and finally 'pain-free'. So far that has not been true. I have been
to the hospital twice now in the past 2 weeks and I am in extreme pain, and
bed now for the 5th day in a row.
Please accept my apologies for not writing sooner and for not seeing you in
Scranton.
How have you been?? How did the surgery go??
I look forward to hearing from you. Please, if you can, let everyone on the
board know that I am "alive" and will soon be back on the board. I have not
had the energy yet to go through all of the past entries. My husband did
tell me that he wrote several entries to the board during my surgery, and
hospital stay.
I am sending a "BIG" hug your way with best wishes for a complete recovery
and pain-free days ahead!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Deborah (from Canada)
