Hi Tinky...welcome to the IAS family! looks like you've gotten alot of good advice already. Fiber is bad news for many of us...makes problems worse. What I have to do is stay on a pretty consistent eating/drinking/pooping plan. If everything stays moving, I am okay, there is also less being at extremes with evrer present symptoms...everybosy has to figure out what works best for themselves.

I eat mostly things that can dissolve in my mouth, or that are soft...cereals, bread, yogurt, Fudgesicles(yum!), rice, scrambled egg whites, etc.

A meal for me is a cup of Cheerios, or a piece of bread or a 1/2 can of gingerale, but I eat these "meals" several times throughout the day. I have learned to eat this way to avoid reflux and of course, additional pain.

I rely on the herb senna to maintain bowel motiliy/bm's...it is not always pleasant, as it can cause severe cramping at times, but I find it works better than anything else I've tried.

Hope this helps some.

Hugs,

Janet
