Adhesion pain can come and go. After my hyst in Oct. 2000, I would have relatively pain-free days. Then when I would have a bm, the pain would come out of the blue, knife-like, horrendous sharp pain. Trying different diets can help. That and finding a good doctor, one who understands adhesions and is willing to work with you on pain management.
