I am sorry to hear that you are going through not only the physical pain and anguish but emotional pain as well. Time will hopefully heal both and you will be well again. I hope that everything works out for you with your relationship. It will definitley be his loss if it doesn't. Keep the faith and take care. We are all here for you.
