Dear Chrissie My parents had 4 kids, & later, when I was 11 or 12, they started taking in foster kids. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. They later adopted one little girl that we had at age 18 mths. She was so small, she didn't know how to walk because she had been left in the crib all the time. Well, she is almost 30 now, We gave her the chance of a real family life that she would have never had if it hadn't been for my parents. Foster families are special people. If I can ever get well & stay that way, I would like to be an emergency foster mom. You never know what you will get with foster kids, but, you give them love & they will love you back, that is what being a mom is all about. Robin
