Missy,

Sounds like I'm a surgery or two behind you! (Actually more, but it sounded funnier the other way.) Right now they have found something possibly going on with my gall bladder but since that isn't where my pain is, they'd have to really talk fast to get me to have it removed.

I, too, am having trouble getting the doctor I see get on board for pain mgmt. But I'm going Wednesday armed with the information I've gotten from this board (Thank you all a million times) and I hope to be successful with her. If not, I'll just have to find another one. The people here have given me the courage to perservere.....my husband, family and friends as well as myself deserve better!

Check out all the sites in the archives and keep at it. We shouldn't have to lie. Although, I have pulled the back pain thing before, because my doctor knows I've had back surgery before and she seems to understand that kind of pain!

Time is precious.....we need to spend it well!

Best wishes, kcmo rose
