You should never have to wait until May to see a pain specialist to help you with your pain. You need to get to someone much sooner then that. Even if you have to go to the ER for the time being (please read Joint Commission on Pain that was recently posted). They must treat you and cannot deny you pain medication. If you would like to e-mail me personally with where you live, perhaps I could help you find a pain specialist in your area. I have succeeded in helping some IAS members find caring, supportive pain specialists, that believe that adhesions do cause pain and will treat your pain accordingly. Myself included!!
