Millie, No the gastric tube didn't hurt at all! It is just a bit annoying hanging out of your nose. It was the nasogastric tube and was put inserted in the operating room while I was still under general anesthesia. It didn't hurt pulling it out either, you just hold your breath and they pull it out very fast. JEAN (from PA)
