I have my first surgeon's appointment today at lpm...I have copied and prepared everything I've found and read on the web site and from all of you...if this doctor is willing to listen. I'm praying he already knows most of it, his nurse sounded like he is knowledgeable, we'll see :-/. This could be just my first stop...because if he gives me flack, I'll just go on to the next one till I find one who will know or at least be willing to learn. :-)
I'm still just being able to tolerate liquids, some things like cheese, but not much.
I think the thing that really needs to be addressed and made extra known, is how depressive this problem can be!!! And I think this support group is fantastic, and any of us well enough, should consider one in our own areas! Those that do have them in their areas, do you have connections to mental health workers to aid you? I would think that would be vital!
I want to thank all of you again for your help, advice and information, and I'll let you know asap how the appointment goes..I'm in Colorado, so I would assume any information I can gather on good surgeons would be of help to other's in my area! love and peace to you all Linda Beebe
