Hello everyone,

I am hoping some of you can help me, so here goes.

I have heard of some of the new surgical techniques that are used in ARD. Because I live in Australia, I am wondering if anyone knows of an experienced adhesiologist in Queensland? I know it's a long shot, but with my complications, not many doctors will touch me.

I have had nearly 25 operations, for Endometriosis, Adenmyosis, Bowel Resections, Hysterectomy, Appendectomy, IBS, Both Ovaries Removed, Urethral Resections due to Adhesions, etc, etc, etc.

I have been doing well until a month or so ago, when that constant pulling stabbing pain returned. I am taking "Deptran" which only helps to a certain degree now as the pain intensifies. I try not to take many pain medications, as it irritates my bowel and that kind of pain I can live without.

I wonder how many doctors use this "Harmonic Scalpel"? and how effective is it in ARD treatment. If the Germany doctors use many "Barriers" as I have seen discussed in our messages.

Questions, Questions, I know, but I want to be armed with effective treatments before I travel eight hours away to continue my search for a surgeon that will operate. I have been rejected by all specialists in my hometown. I moved back to Rockhampton from my major capital city of Melbourne early last year. I am much happier here with family around me that's foresure, but also have made the specialist help nearly impossible. I could maybe afford to travel back to Melbourne for surgery if need be, but will they do it properly? I need this to end now... why? I am only 30. I don't need an operation for every year of my life one would think.

I am staying as strong as I can, but any medical information on what products worked with your surgeries will help me.

Thanks alot for listening Trace
