Hey Nanc,

This old doctor doesn't sound very good at all, Most of us here understand the frustration of that. I would suggest that you try hard to find a doctor that will. I moved to the other side of Australia early this year. I had been with my specialist for 11 years. Boy, did I get the run around. My old specialist was getting mad with the number of faxes he had to send to the doc's here. Alas, after feeling rejected and very sick, noone in Rockhampton could help me. So... I don't take that lying down. I know I am very sick, I found someone in Brisbane which is eight hours away for me. My old specialist even offered to fly to Brisbane and operate. Problem solved... many GP's later, and I found an excellent one of those. (went through four of those first). Now, I have a support network. I had many tears trying to find the right ones who would listen, but it was worth being fussy over.

I had a problem with the number of procedures I have had, not the medications, although I could start my own pharmacy here. I wrote every thing down and took them to all the new specialists. It made it easier for me. Also, I think you should look at it positively, this way you will never forget which medications didn't work, as you have them written down. And lets face it, with our problems alot of medication doesn't work.

Finally, any good doctor will see your pain. Remember that.

I hope for a brand New Good Year for you

Trace xxoo
