I am facing my 7th surgery since my hysterectomy 5 years ago. I have
been diagnosed with Chronic Adhesions and have been told that the only
way to ease the pain w/out meds is with surgery periodically. I had
surgery in May, it was supposed to be a simple lap, but I had adhesions
growing on my bladder and that turned the surgery into a major one.
Needless to say I was in the hospital for 5 days and dealt with quite a
bit of bladder pain.
That was in May, now I am having the same pain again and surgery is
scheduled for December. My surgeon has tried everything from "harmonic"
scalpal to Seprafilm. I have had adhesions attached to my stomach,
liver, gall bladder, diaphram, all 4 colons, bladder and intestines.
I go to one of the best doctors in Houston, TX for adhesions, but can't
help but that I need a second opinion. Idon't want a second opinion,
because I have done so much "dr jumping". Any good advice?
