About 21/2 years ago, I had a barrium enema too. My OB/GYN at the time said it came out fine. Then I took my x-rays to a GI & it turned out I had 2 polops (sp). I ended up having them removed during a colonoscopy. It all turned out OK, BUT, it could have been serious. When I picked up my x-rays to take to the GI, I noticed there were circles on a few of them. That was when I kinda worried. Now, they say I need to have a colonoscopy every 5 years (What FUN!!) Best wishes to all Robin
