I decided that I would get in touch with Drs. Reich and Redan to find out if they viewed my case differently. I gathered all my medical records and sent the records to them. At the same time, I sent all the records to my internist. My internist was one who had advised me against having additional surgery. After Drs. R&R had reviewed my records, they said that they could help me. I told them that I had been advised differently and needed to know why they thought they could help when other doctors couldn't. They sent me copies of articles detailing the procedures. I gave these to my internist, he read them, and (bless him) he called Drs R&R to discuss my case. My internist changed his mind after talking to them. He is now very positive about me having surgery. I am scheduled for Dec 8.
I have decided that it is a good thing that no other doctor rushed in to do more surgeries. Even though I was discouraged at the time, I glad now that I didn't have more surgeries by doctors who are less skilled.
Hope this helps
