Re: What is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon worth?

Helen, I am with you!!! I have finally figured out that the cliché is very true: "You get what you pay for." I for one, am seeing both Drs' Reich and Redan, not to mention the hospital and hotel. The hotel told me that their hospital rate was $60/night, and if my hospital agrees with the pre-authorization of my surgery, they will pay 80%. If I have problems, I don't know how I will pay for additional stays in the hospital. My insurance is starting to shake me down and I am not going to take it. I pay too much money for this insurance only to have them say that I need to get proof of the reason for surgery and once they approve it, so much the better.
