Thanks Karla, You are right. Perhaps it is both the surgeon and the Intergel that worked for me. I just can't see those whose life is so severely damaged and who have bowel obstructions go into surgery without it as we all know that every surgery causes more adhesions. It is a risk that I was willing to take but we are all different. By the way, Dr. Korell has used it for 5 years without infections and he does not give a 100 percent guarantee that the adhesions will not return. I had a 15% chance of getting them all back and I knew this. What I really want to say is, why aren't they trying harder to get this thing approved. If it were for cancer it would not take this long.
