I have had the same procedure, but didnt have any problems except I felt a little bloated for a while. If I understand correctly, there are a couple of things that might help reduce the chances of the scar tissue returning, bar the adhesion barriers. One of them is to take steroids before & after surgery, but I am not sure for how long. The other is to have the gas heated up. It is usually used at room temp. But maybe it should be used at body temp or warmer. Those are just 2 things that I have found out with doing research on line. Robin
