Helen, no she has not had the surgery. We have been waiting for Dr. Semertzides to finalize details. I also had job responsibilities during this period so it was in our favor, if you look at it that way, to have had it postponed. I am sure Susan would have wanted it sooner.

Thank you all for your genuine concern. We will be happy to share our experiences in the future as needed.

In the meantime, don't give up. We need each and everyone of you. I know how disheartening this disorder/disease can be. I read all the postings and my heart aches for everyone.
