On this page (page 16) of Dr. Mark Perloe's book, " Sperm-Egg Transport: Solving Tubal Problems," Dr. Perloe gives some information about Salpingostomy / Fimbrioplasty (opening the fimbria and repairing the tube)...and he lists some causes of problems with the fimbria of the fallopian tubes.
