Thanks Helen - I didn't check this site yet, but I did read Final Exit last August, and it was an incredibly thoughtful, intelligent book on the subject. It helped me a lot, but my thoughts weren't because of the physical pain as much as the emotional pain of what had happened to my life. I was also going through a supervised withdrawal from post-op Xanax, which is a depressant.
