Tara I understand very well the pain you are in.The bowel pains feel like a million kniveds are cotinually being driven into your abdomen. And being wrenched around.I have often passed out with the pain. However when it gets really bad I go into hospital and have an epidural marcaine infusion.I have this about two days and then he changes it to a morphine infusion for about two more days. After this your mind and body have rested a little and I can cope with pain again. It seems that you are always on the merry-go-round.I have often begged them to let me die(thank God that they dont take any notice). When I come home and have a couploe of episodes of explosive diarrhoe I usually feel better for afew days. However the episodes are getting more frequent.Today I look like a pregnant elephant and vowed that I am not going out in the public view again.Tara get some pain med as I dont know how you cope. -----Original Message----- From: Tara S <eirelin@hotmail.com> To: Multiple recipients of list ADHESIONS <adhesions@forum.obgyn.net> Date: Tuesday, 15 February 2000 10:40 Subject: Re: laxatives, bowel movements, etc.
