Laura, Do you have any of the operative reports fromthat surgery at all, or any of your surgery's?

With your history of endo involvement, as well as a very adhesesed ovary, it wouldn't surprise me at all if in fact you were suffering from the pain of adhesions. Even if you show any signs of a functioning ovary, that could come from displaced tissue, and that tissue is in all probability adhered somewhere...thus the botom line of the pain is adhesional involvement. I would think that a laporoscopic diagnosis would tell you the problem. And yes, adhesions in and of themselves can cause horrendouse pain and suffering...I dom not think the bowel resection would give problems due to the resection, but again, if your intestines are adhered to another organ or peritoneum...then you would have pain ..and a lot of pain!

Best of luck with the DR's...and be sharp! Take information on ARD with you so that when you ask threm questions, they will not be so quick to put your off as to adhesions and pain etc....as Helen said, to be prepared is your first aid in getting effective treatment..and being that some people can get a bit nervous at an appointment...take informatuion, your questions, all medications and have an idea of what results you expect to get out of that appointment! Bev
