I had endo & adhesions. I'm not sure I understand what it is you're wanting to know but I'll tell you what I can about me. I had a hyst. in 1994 for pain due to endo. By 1996, the pain was back & worse than before. So in Jan. 1997, I had the ovaries done. The pain was worst around mid-cycle and lasted for a few days. Before my hyst. I was told that I had middle-smirch (sp?) syndome which is something that's triggered in mid-cycle. Anyway, a few months after the ovaries were done, I was back in my gyn's office and this time he told me that my pain was caused by adhesions and that their was nothing more he could do for me. I have done the Lupron and it only made things worse. Lupron throws your body into menopause and is supposed to halt the growth of endo. It won't do anything though for adhesions.

Since I have been studying up on my own health issues, I've discovered quite a few interesting facts. 1. Gall bladder problems can worsen adhesions. One of the first things the surgeon told me after having my most recent laparoscopy in October was that when you seen a lot of adhesions around the gall bladder (particularly when you've had no surgery in that region), it's indicative of gall bladder problems. Be advised that gallstones are not the only problem one can have with the gall bladder; so investigate it beyond the simple sono to look for stones. 2. Endo. is a disease that will cause adhesions all by itself. You can have problemmatic adhesions and have never had any surguries simply due to endo.

I hope some of this information was helpful.
