Re: Adhesions/Gall Bladder...I Need Some Advice

Well I found out yesterday from my new GI doctor that even after removing the gallbladder we can still have gallstones and attacks! I had my gallbladder out 12 years ago, and am now having pains like I had then which I consider gall bladder attacks--but until yesterday I told myself it wasn't possible and had to be something else. I am having a procedure done within in a month where the GI will go in and perform a minor surgery to re-open the common bile ducts, as he believes I have reformed gall stones! Here I had thought removing the gall bladder would solve those problems forever. Gina

I thought I had finally made a decision to have the adhesions & the gall bladder done but now I'm wondering if I should only do the gall bladder and see if that makes a substantial different. I'm really getting tired of second guessing myself.
