Rhonda,

I know that gyn's and general surgeons work together alot in surgery with endo and adhesions or obstruction. Sometimes a gen. is called in when the doctor suspects bowel involvement just in case. Most doctors work with a team, like mine does. Your gyn might remove it depending on his surgical experience - then again he/she might be shy about that since its not really his or her area.

I have a question for you - you stated that you have gallbladder problems - it doesn't excrete. Can you describe that for me? My doc thinks that I have a mass near or on my gallbladder - I am supposed to have a scan. I was just wondering what symptoms you are experiencing.
