Hi Laura, Look for all the info you can find on "ovarian remnant syndrome" as it is a known problem and there is a way to treat it too I believe. I know another woman mentioned it to me as a possible cause for right pelvic pain after ovaries were removed. But luckily I got my surgical reports and in there they clearly had found and removed both ovaries and tubes in my BSO surgery, so I hope that means they got it all. But it might help you to look that up or ask about it on obgyn.net in women's health forum, which is where I heard about it :) Gina
