Been there, done that. It was awful. I didn't get any relaxants or anything
because they need to monitor your response. In my case, the barium stimulated a
vagal response, my blood pressure dropped, and I almost passed out. They insert
the tube, then the barium, then tilt the table all sorts of directions. I hope
you have a better experience than I did.

Has anyone had this (taking pictures of your colon)? Did they give you some
type of anesthesia or relaxant?
