Hi Peggy, I have had seven laparotomies, and three laparoscopies, but the first one was c section 23 years ago. We never had anymore children, it was ver hard to get pregnant, and if I did I always misscarried, I had 3 of thoe over the years. The two laparotmies and one lap within 5 months really has been bad, once he removed that last ovary,, the pain has been terrible, and tey tell me the adhesions I grow, grow at a VERY rapid rate. I am going to have surgery. but I do have alot of questions. I also WANT my gyn to lyse adhesions and a surgeon there to wrap the bowel. I hope to see a general surgeon soon.

NO, I have not had a bowel, and I amlike you,I do not want that to happen, the drs were surprised I did not obstruct last year, but we just lost a family member last month, he had one and perotonios (SP) set in, and it killed him. My mom had vovulus, twisted bowel, and the drs were idiots, and said the por thing had the flu, always say that, and she passed out in the bathroom one night, went through 3- 7 hours surgeries try to save her, but we lost her, and I miss her terribly. SHE WOUld elp me trough this, my father does not understand , but he freaks ow whenI said ANYTHING about surgery. I am getting hard pains now that last a few minutes and those do stop me from what I am doing, those are all newer pains, and those hurt. Talk to you soon, putting up decorations with my husband.

Toni
