Dear Gina, As I've got it you asked about possible influence of old Hepatitis C on your liver condition. > Could I in fact have a normal liver and still have hep c? Can I have a
> normal liver and still be a hep c carrier?

Gina, frankly problem is not in Hepatitis C. Problem is in it's consequences. The disease you mentioned here in ex-USSR has other names "infectious hepatitis" or "virus hepatitis" or Botkin's disease (after the physician which described it) unlike "usual" hepatitis. As far as I know various people have various symptoms and different recovering terms. I read it in many sources and once talked to an experienced specialist from infectious hospital (here all such patients are cured just in specialized hospitals). She told me the sequences and symptoms mostly depended on patient's immune system condition. If it is weak so patient can get too weak, get fever, etc. or even collapse. If it's quite strong he can even not to notice anything. And such person can learn about virus hepatitis after occasional blood test! :)

I have mentioned that conventional indirect liver blood tests are not sufficient for deep liver condition evaluation. But alternative medicine also uses indirect methods. Hope you know a lot of such symptoms like colour of eye whites and skin, colour of stool, unusual bad digestion of fatty or high-protein food, etc. I know tomorrow conventional medicine offers us new and (I'm sure) more effective methods of liver testing but still I not sure they'll get a integral picture of our GI tract and liver part in it. I believe they know perfectly about that idea but don't implement it. Why? Maybe goodness knows ...

Personally I know simple and effective method how to test own liver condition. I tested it on myself and some my relatives several times. It worked even on my wife. BTW, very fast. She and me even didn't expect so fast result. :) She never has been in hospitals, never underwent any operation, and hasn't any serious health problem - only sometimes catches cold. She doesn't take medicines. No smoke, no drink. Seldom coffee or tea. So I can say it's universal. Moreover I know perfectly it's physiological background. Thus I'm more than sure the method would work in other cases too. Of course, that method can't tell you certain figures about enzymes level or bile pigments or fatty acids or fatty vitamins or so on. It can just give you a whole estimate of your liver condition. It seems quite rough estimate, but frankly our organism doesn't know about any certain standard of any substance in the body. Yes, we have two arms and two legs but every doctor can tell you that every test results are very specific for every person and for certain moment. Next day he can get different figures. So I prefer only whole and universal estimates and want to offer you a similar simple and safe liver test.

You just should drink a potion of some herbs twice-thrice a day during at least a week. If you would feel some unpleasant feelings like dull ache in liver or gallbladder area or nausea, so your liver doesn't work properly. Having stopped taking the potion your liver will be okay (no pain here) again in a week. Those herbs are wide-spread and if I am not mistaken in US too.

You could think I'd like to offer you to cleanse your liver. No, it's not a liver clearance at all. :) Good liver clearance is very serious and thorough procedure like a real surgery. It needs some preparation. But this method requires no special efforts from your side absolutely.

If you'd like to know specific description of this simple method let me know. I'm ready to describe it's details, discuss the mechanism, and explain each herb value.

> What other things would cause
> my enzymes to be elevated at a constant level for 12+ years?
To be true, if you want to see "them" ("other things") personally you can do it. Yes, it's not a tale at all.

Best regards, Igor Gudymenko
