I too mostly have alot of constipation, I have been taking laxatives for a year and a half, now they tell me I am taking to much senekot, and sometimes it does not work. I am going to tell the counselor today, I am very unhappy withthe pain clinic, the pain and sleep patterns again have gotten worse again. I notice the diarreha, part of IBS, acts up like it did last night when I try to eat alittle red meat, and we shared that malt. I thought it wuld help the weight alittle. Sometimes I think the narcotics are ruining my appetite, but I do not know. I think I have lost at least 7 lbs in the past 2 weeks I guess. None of my clothes fit me anymore. Before all this my normal weight was over alittle, I am only 5 ft tall and I used to weigh aout 110, ow I am right around 94. Seems like alot when you are so short. I am waiting til next week to hear from gyn, since he is out of town. He said he would contact the surgeon, do you blame me for wanting the gyn to do the lysis of adhesions,? I was a mess 5 yers ago from another dr, and all the gyns I go for second opinions, have all told me he is the best on the east side of town, I live on the west side, and I drive fair drive to see him. He comfors me too, and he has a very caring bedside manner, and I need that.

His ways are different, he said he feels so bad that all this surgwery last year did othing to help. But with the two drs working together, hopefully that will be it fir me too. I know how sic I was in the hospital last time. I was stuck there for a week. This may be a longer recovery, although they all told me no more surgery through the scope anymore. The scope cannot get through theadhesions, they are too thick.

Better get ready for appt. ill see how this goes.
