Hi Laura,

Yeah, you might want to talk to you P.M. I tried to find the articles regarding mineral oil and vitamin absorbtion but I've read so much lately that I can't put my fingers on it. I do seem to remember that it effects absorbtion of certain vitamins and minerals so maybe you can still take it but might need to boost the amount of certain supplements that you take. I will keep looking for the reports and will let you know if I find specifics. Ginny

(5 of those caplets a day with my largest meal which is lunch) so I can't afford to lose any nutrients. I, like you Ginny, can't afford it, although I don't believe I have Crohn's but, I do not eat well so I MUST take sups. I'll let you know what happens. Take care gang, we can get through ANYTHING as long as we hang together!!

>>Sherry, thanks loads for the extra info. I suffer VERY badly from constipation and am on a regimen using Senekot (sp?) from my P.M. dr. I STILL feel like I am being sliced into when I go even though I am on this regimen. I am buying a bottle tonight and start! I can't wait! It will be soooo nice to be regular again and HOPEFULLY, little or no pain when I DO go. And yes, who would have thought we would be talking about "to go or not to go, that is the question" tee hee hee!! Love and prayers to all.
