Denise,It depends on where the adhesions are,how serious it can be,I have had laporoscopies twice.Thw first time it took me about 3-4 weeks to really be back to "normal".Then within another 2-4 weeks my pain returned,I then had trigger point injections done {which is steroid injections}to the lower left abdomin where the pain is.This did not work at all so I had another laporoscopy done.THese were done within 6 months apart. The Dr. used an adhesion barrier {interceed},which I believe I had a forieng body reaction to and ran a low grade fever for 28 days. That is exacttly the amount of time it takes for the interceed to absorb into your body.So I would say it took me about 4-6 weeks to recover from that one,Only to have the pain return actually about 2-3 weeks after I had the laporoscopy. So I'm sure all people recover in thierown way.I hope this helps you.
