Hey Sherry,

Thanks for your note of encouragement. I really mean it when I say that this kind of support has helped me so much. I'm doing OK. I have some trouble with the new medications as they make me so sleepy. But, at least I can sleep. I am glad to have a diagnosis so at least I know what I am facing. It's been hard trying to deal with all the pain and wondering if it is all in your head. Is fibromyalgia an immune disorder? If it is, I wonder if it can relate in any way to Crohn's as it is an immune disorder as well. The medicines I am taking don't seem to help the pain that I have but maybe they have not had time to work. The GI says we might have to go ahead with surgery for the adhesions but wants to wait about six weeks to see if the medication she has given me for the inflammation in the GI tract might relieve some of the pressure put on the adhesions. What do you do for fibromylgia? Take care. Ginny
