Hi Peggy,

No that is not what cysts are supposed to do. If it gets bigger instead of smaller - the GYN will have to go in and get it. I have had about 6 of these - 3 resolved on their on (while small) and the others grew and had to be removed - they reached the size of a baseball and a grapefruit. As you can imagine they were very painful. They developed because the ovulated egg got "caught up" in the adhesions and could not go through the normal bodily process. Hope this helps
