I had my left tube and ovary removed by laparoscopy. My ovary was totally encased in adhesions. They weren't even sure they had it until the lab report came back that there was ovarian tissue in there. They wanted me to go home the same day, but my body wouldn't cooperate, so I went home the next day. Within 2 weeks I was back to normal. Unfortunately, my pain returned and I needed more surgery 7 months later.
