Hi Ginny:
Glad to hear from you. I was thinking of you today. I don't understand
this. Gi bleeding is not normal. There has to be a reason for it. I
believe there must be other tests they could do. I don't see how
adhesions could be doing it unless they are perforating your bowel the
way endo might. If your husband had to pick you up from work and carry
you to the car, then this is absolutely ridiculous and you need to find
another doctor. This is not a normal response by any stretch of the
imagination. I think YOU are going to have to figure out the next step.
I don't mean this in a critical way, just very concerned. We have
people who are hospitalized for less than what you are describing.
Yes, I am doing great on the medication. But it's not completely gone,
I get reminders which scare me. I wonder how long it will last. I hop
in and out of the car and I no longer wince in pain. And the
investigation is not over. I don't plan to just take this indefinitely.
What are they going to do next in your case?
