Hi Ginny:
I've been considering the possiblity that Myofascial pain syndrome could
be my problem. (the lower right quadrant pain) It could be setting off
the back problem. It's been going on for so long I feel like I'm in a
downward spiral. I've got to wait for the MRI results before going off
on another tangent and I'm getting annoyed that I haven't heard yet. I
can't believe it takes a week to read an MRI. If the doctor's office
had any interest in this they could have found the results might fast. I
know because I work in the field. They don't seem to realize how pain
takes over your life. Or care. Oh, they care all right when you are
right there in the office. I think they are very caring then. But the
minute you are out the door, next patient please! I know I have given my
idea of the reasons for this-if a physician became as preoccupied with
every patient's pain as the patient is, he/she would be a basket case. I
wish I had a guard dog to sic on them.
