I'm sorry I don't have any positive thing to say because I'm in the same
situation as you are. That's why I'm going to a colo-rectal surgeon
this Thursday who also treats bowel problems as well as operates. I
think you can be sure that if your surgeon is willing to operate then
the advantages of operating must be greater than the risks. From what
you've been reading on this forum the general thinking seems to be
"don't operate unless absolutely necessary."
How did you find out the bowel moved and that there are risks in not
doing anything?
