I too have suffered and am still trying to live with adhesions. I have
had 5 surgeries for adhesions and several other major operations. I
just had a total hysterectomy, appendectomy and lysis of extensive
adhesions in Nov. I also had surgery 6 months before that for dense
adhesions. I have endured bowel obstructions and hemmoraghing. I
started having problems when I had a tubal ligation and ended up having
a tubal pregnancy which ruptured. I was about 30 yrs. old and I am 40
now and still trying to make sence of what my life has become. My only
comfort has been in the fact that I am not alone. My Dr. used an
adhesion barrier this last surgery at my request. I got my info on the
barriers from the net. I am having a great deal of pulling in my back
but I am optomistic that maybe I will be able to go longer before I have
surgery again. Time will tell. Thanks to everyone who has shared their
stories. I also have Fibromyalgia and was curious if anyone else has
