This is in response to Christine Smith's question about CT scans and
barrium test. I have had both and also an ultrasound. My Drs were
saying that it would not show the adhesions but could tell them if the
colon was involved. The barrium was very uncomfortable. Where my
adhesions are the large intestine is adhered to the abdominal wall and
the barrium is heavy so it was not fun. I believe that of the three
test the barrium was the most beneficial. Apparently the CT didn't show
what they were looking for so that was basically a waste of time and $.
