I've been told the same thing by several docs and surgeons. But, I had one surgeon to say it's not the adhesions that cause pain, it's what they DO that causes the pain- for example weaving into nerves, immobilizing organs, causing friction between organs, cutting off the bowel, etc. Hope this makes sense.
