Well I managed to get 5 months free of obstructions. I have now had two in a space of three weeks. I went to my surgeon on Friday and he was very concerned and I may have to have a small bowel study , I have had one before and they are not nice. This is so he can see whether there is narrowing caused by adhesions which may be causing the obstructions.If this is the case he will remove that part of the bowel. When he operated last year he said that the adhesions were extensive and that it was one of the worse cases he had seen.
He also said to me that was small chance that I could end up with a feeding tube . Has anyone heard of this or had this ?
