Hi Robin, I have also heard good things about Dr. Cook in Los Gatos. My Step Mom told me about him back in 2005. I have also thought about going to him. I have family in San Jose, and would have a place to stay to re-cup from surgery. I am suppose to go to Ca. for my Dad's Birthday in April and could probably have an app't set up with Dr. Cook. If you have more info on him, please pass it on. What would he use as a Barrier? I have also Heard from my Step Mom about the Nguyen Brothers in the San Jose, Salinas area. One of them has done a gallbladder surgery using only 1 incision, in the article it showed it on the news. I have tried to email them, but it always comes back to me. I guess I should probably write to them. I believe you can find info about them: Advanced Surgical Associates. One gal that goes to Church with my Step Mom has done very well after having adhesions removed by them. I don't know the how's or what is used. I feel the more we learn the better. The nicest thing about this website is that we are not only helping ourselves, we are helping each other by passing on what has worked, or not worked for us, and good surgeons. We are all in this together and it will take all of us to make it through ARD. Cheryl > Date: Tue, 9 Feb 2010 00:04:03 -0600
