Linda, Sorry I misunderstood you. I thought you had gone to see him. (Dr.Cook). I have only been to see Dr. Kruschinski once, but he performs 2 surgeries. The first one to remove adhesions, 2nd look to see if the adhesions had returned. I would love to go back to that time 4 years ago now, and not have pain except the soreness from surgeries. It was heaven, then when my Husband said look at you, you are standing up straight, not doubling over, and I put my buddy away. (heating pad) Once things started happening : getting hurt, returning to work too soon, Gallbladder out, then getting hurt again its like it was all a dream and never happened. If I could afford it, I would probably most definately go again. So many things that you have said, I can identify with. Pain meds, treated like crap because we are lying drug addicts, the fetal position laying down with heating pad. I just want my life back again so bad. I have had a quite a few days when I have wished to end it all. I could never hurt my Husband or sons. nor am I a selfish person. Just a break would be nice. I can't handle whirlpools, hot tubs, or even the vibrating chairs with heat. They intensify my pain making me want to scream. I live in Salem, Or. My Gastro believes in me, and that I have adhesions again. My family doc wants me to read the book "They don't know whats wrong with me". I am sticking it out with him until I get Ins. I am looking for a female doc. The ones that I have seen totally understand and sympathize with the illness. I also agree about being awake during surgery. It makes sense, but scares me to pieces. If I had a Choice instead of a new doc Dr. Cook, I would go to see Dr. K in a heartbeat. My husband has started a fund for our family to toss in loose change etc. Anything to help. I cried reading your note. You do feel like you are the only one that suffers ARD. Someday we will be well again. My Gastro says to keep checking every month for a new surgeon, because you just never know. Wishing you well, rest and pray for our good health.
