Im writing this message to let anyone who suffers from bowel obstruction because of adhesions. I have had many many incidences of SMO because of adhesions and some of which require surgery again. I have been seeing a chinese herbalist for the last few months which seems to have helped significantly.
while i dont have pain every day, i get obstructions which come on and according to the doctors there is nothing you can do about them (prevention or treatment) apart from surgery.
However, the last 4 times i have felt an obstruction coming on I have taken some herbal pills which the chinese herbalist has given me, and also a boil up consisting of several different herbs/plants. This has stopped the SMO in its track 4 times out of 4 so far. It is amazing.
The pills are herbal ones that are used as very very strong antiinflammatorys, antibacterial and also another one for producing excess bile which helps the food digest and pass through unobstructued.
If you get SBO its definately worth a shot.
